Faculty
American Studies draws faculty from around the University. Courses in the American Studies core curriculum are taught by professors from many different disciplines. Cross-listed American Studies courses are offered in numerous departments across the University.

American Studies students are leaders on campus, heavily involved with student life, and organizations at Georgetown, such as The Hoya, The Voice, The Corp, WTGB Georgetown Radio, Blue and Gray Tour Guide Society, GUGS, Philodemic, Mask and Bauble, Rangila, Prison Outreach Program, and GAAP.
